Laveda Mae  Boggs (Taylor)
Laveda Mae Boggs, 74, of Sun City, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
She was born on January 27, 1942, in Russelville, Arkansas, to John and Lillie Taylor. At a young age her family moved to Campbell, California where she was raised.
She married Jimmie Boggs in 1958, and they were married for 58 years. Together they adopted two children: Jimmy Lee and Tammy Lynn.
Laveda and Jimmie moved around quite a bit. At each assignment, she worked as a secretary.
Her biggest enjoyment was sewing and she was gifted. She made sure her kids were the best dressed by sewing the clothes they wore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy, brother Bob, and sister Inez.
Laveda is survived by her husband Jim, son Jimmy Lee Boggs of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Tammy Lynn (Robert) Deela of Thomas, Oklahoma; 2 granddaughters; 4 great-grandchildren; and brother Houston of Sandpoint, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral at 9:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held following the funeral at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 12:30 p.m.
