Obituary for Johnson & Gilsinger Family

Tabitha, Jason, and Sean Gilsinger, and their mother Heather Johnson tragically left our world too soon on April 5, 2017, at their home in Glendale, Arizona.

The three children were born to Heather Johnson and Eric Gilsinger.

Tabitha was born on April 12, 2002, in Glendale, Arizona. She was a high school freshman who was bright, artistic, shy, and a wonderful friend. She was a free spirit who had an artistic personality in all that she did. She loved all things living and felt a need to protect them. Tabitha always had a sketch pad in hand to be able to quickly sketch out her thoughts. Her creativity included the creation of a new language. She had the ability to look at the world around her, recognize the flaws, and want to fix them.

Jason and Sean were born on March 20, 2004, in Glendale, Arizona. As twins, they stood together and supported each other, even while developing their individual interests. They loved shopping, family holidays, and going to movies, parks, and fairs with Grandma Gilsinger.

Jason was in 7th grade and enjoyed spending time with his mom hiking, grilling food for his family, and riding bikes with his twin brother. Jason was a child with a lot of inner strength and resiliency. He enjoyed sports and would help out any chance he could with his mom at the bakery, especially setting up decorations for the different seasons. He had a love for animals. Jason recently started the hiking challenge with his mom.

Sean was in 7th grade and was starting to find a love for photography. He was the handyman of the family and loved working with Grandpa Johnson. He had an outgoing personality and dreamed of going to ASU to become a construction superintendent. He enjoyed cooking for his family and working in the bakery, learning from his mom and sharing his creations with his family at holidays.

Heather was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She was a warrior through her challenges of life. She gave her heart into everything she did. Her passions in life included her children, her family, baking, nature, camping, hiking, and fishing. Heather had a motherly nature that took anyone in need into her care. She was a very talented chef and baker who created gorgeous wedding cakes and pastries for her small business.

Gilsinger Family: The children are survived by their father Eric Gilsinger, grandmother Diana Gilsinger, uncle Mike and aunt Kim Gilsinger, uncle Scott Gilsinger, aunt Vicki Gilsinger, uncle Bryan and aunt Joye Allen, and 6 cousins.

Johnson Family: Heather and the children are survived by parents/grandparents Roger Johnson, Lynda Loomis, and Audrey Johnson, uncle Mike and aunt/sister Carolyn Bos, uncle Bryan and aunt/sister Holly Calhoun, uncle Steven and aunt Nancy Pabin, Corey Pabin, and 12 nieces/nephews/cousins.
