Obituary for Larry David Osland

Larry David  Osland
Larry David Osland, 72, of Peoria, Arizona passed away peacefully from heart failure on 8-7-2017 at Banner University Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona with his wife and family by his side. Larry was born in Grinnell, Iowa on 8-8-1944 to Kenneth and Celma Osland. He graduated from Grinnell High School in 1963. Larry was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rose Mary McKeag on 9-13-1964 and they celebrated their love for one another for nearly 53 years, raising three daughters. Larry lived in Marshalltown, Iowa most of his life before retiring from Swift & Co. and moving to Arizona in 1998. He loved life, loved his family and friends fiercely and was a man of strong faith. Larry "Oz" was a friend to everyone that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Rose; daughters Rhonda (Jeff) Dvorak of Peoria, Arizona; Laura (Joe) Klaas of Peoria, Arizona; Jennifer Kane of Surprise, Arizona; Grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) Farr; Ashley, Taylor, Dylan Klaas; Zachery and Madison Kane; his brothers, Gary, Terry, Tom and their families; and countless family and friends. He is preceeded in death by his parents, one brother, Jerry; and a brother and two sisters in infancy. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
