Roy "Larry" Jones

May 19, 1928 - January 31, 2018



Roy "Larry" Jones age 89, of Glendale AZ, was called to be with the Lord on January 31, 2018. Larry was born on May 19, 1928 in Eau Claire Wisconsin. He moved to the Los Angeles area in 1940 with his Family. He enlisted with the Navy when he was 17 and served for 2 years. After his time with the Navy he joined the the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department where he served for 32 years at the East Los Angeles Station. He was proud of his service to the country and community. After retirement he spent may years traveling the world with his beautiful wife. Larry will be lovingly remember by his wife of 58 years, Vollie and his 3 children, Kim Jones (Mark), Todd Jones (Lisa) and Tim Jones (Renae); 4 grandchildren Max McInally (Sierra), Kelly Ann McInally (Dillon), Hayley Jones and Amber Jones; 2 great grandchildren Nainoa McInally and Kaila McInally, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. As he wished, no memorial service will be held.
